Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. We only use, vegan coconut soy wax, phthalate-free fragrance oils, and non-toxic, eco-conscious materials. Our candles are designed to be safe for your home, your pets, and your air.
For a clean, even burn every time:
- Let your candle burn until the entire surface melts usually 45min to an hour. (depending on the vessel and the room temperature)
- Always trim the wooden wick to about 1/8″ before each use this prevents excess smoke and extends burn time.
Our FSC-certified wooden wicks give a soothing crackle and slow, clean burn. Trimming keeps the flame steady and prevents soot, especially in smaller rooms.
We recommend burning your Meraki candle for no more than 4 hours per session to preserve the fragrance quality and extend the life of the candle.
Tunneling happens when a candle doesn’t burn long enough to melt the full surface. To avoid this, make sure your first burn is at least 2 hours, so the wax pool reaches the edges.
Sustainability is part of our ritual. Once your candle is finished:
- Place the vessel in the freezer overnight.
- Gently remove remaining wax and wick base with a butter knife.
- Clean the inside with rubbing alcohol or glass cleaner.
- Repurpose as a planter, brush holder, spice jar, or décor piece endlessly reusable, just like your care.
